Desert Angels

Desert Angels is a third-person, story-driven exploration game about a desert scrapyard, and the memories left behind within it.

The scrapyard holds a generator that has the power to save your village. And so, you must find it. Talk to the ghosts haunting the place — or ignore them. Investigate the trash and the stories that they tell — or destroy them.

What gets to be remembered, and what gets to be forgotten? The choices you make and the places you see will shape the narrative.

• Travel through the striking landscape of the scrapyard at your own pace. There are no enemies or hazards, only layers upon layers of trash and the open sands.
• Discover the artifacts and relics scattered between the trash to compile your own understanding of the scrapyard's past.
• Use the guns scattered throughout the landscape to blow up the trash standing in your way and carve new paths.
• The ghosts of the desert will haunt you along the way. Indulge in their memories, or set them aside.

This game is also available on Steam; Steam keys are not currently provided with the itch.io release, in exchange for a slightly lower base price.

Note for Mac players: Mac builds on itch.io are not code-signed. They are playable if downloaded from the itch app, but may not be allowed to run by the OS if downloaded directly. The game is not built for Intel Macs, and will require an M1+ mac to run.
